Parents

Thank you for trusting us with your children. We know that being a child in today’s culture is challenging. Being a parent in today’s culture is even more challenging. We’re not interested in taking the place of parents, but it is our desire to partner with parents to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.

We’ve learned over the years that parents are the most important and biggest influencers for their children. Faith will matter to kids, if it matters to parents.

To facilitate a positive experience for our nursery and preschool-aged children, please note the things that you can do to help us provide the best experience for your child:

:: Please do not bring food or drinks into the nursery. Some of our children may have severe allergies and may experience a reaction.

:: Please write any specific instructions for your child on the nursery registration form provided by our Welcome Team. Instructions can pertain to food allergies, needs such as a bottle or a nap during the service, potty training or any other details on caring for you child. Your willingness to do this before the check-in process will allow our volunteers to better serve you and your child.

:: Our volunteers will try to calm upset children for 15-20 minutes before locating a parent in the worship service. Children will only be released to parents or guardians.

:: Here’s more information on the Faith Formation Program.

“Teach them to your children. Talk about them wherever you are, sitting at home or walking in the street; talk about them from the time you get up in the morning until you fall into bed at night. Amen.”
